BLS series WPSFD4 is the seasonally adjusted final-demand PPI. The displayed monthly percent change is 100 × (index this month / index last month − 1), using BLS's published precision. Producer transaction prices and expenditure weights differ from consumer prices. Recent indexes are revised for late reports and corrections; seasonal factors can also be revised. Preserve release vintages rather than silently replacing original readings.
