You do not have to share a conclusion to evaluate the evidence. Our standard is to show the record, identify uncertainty and revise when better evidence emerges.
Our Editorial Standard
Start with the record. Link primary documents when available and explain what each source can establish. Keep reported facts, allegations, analysis and opinion clearly distinguishable.
Context is part of accuracy. Preserve dates, definitions, denominators and the information available at the time. Consider the strongest competing explanation and state what remains unresolved.
Corrections should be visible. If you spot an error, use the Contact page and include the article link, the disputed claim and a supporting source. Material changes should explain what changed and why.
