Trump–Xi State Visit

Awaiting implementation · 5 receipts · Last verified Sep 29, 2026

The Question

Which state-visit economic announcements are implemented changes, which are frameworks or recommendations, and which remain future commitments?

Current Status

The September state visit produced documented agreements, terms and commitments, but several announced economic outcomes still depend on domestic implementation or future transactions.

What Is Established

The White House and Chinese government published official accounts of the visit, and the 30-for-30 Terms of Reference document approved product lists and framework terms.

What Remains Open

Recommended tariff treatment and future purchase commitments are not by themselves evidence that tariff reductions are legally in force or that projected purchases have occurred.
