A source's reputation is context. The underlying record is where a claim must stand.

A receipt is evidence a reader can inspect and connect to a specific claim. Its strength depends on what it establishes, how it was produced, and whether the conclusion stays within its limits.

A link gives readers somewhere to go. A clear claim gives them something to examine. Good discussion starts when everyone can identify the issue, the evidence, and the question being asked.
